Bitch still bleeding after mating 30days straight. Bleeding color is around reddish to brown and usually after she pee and the amount of bleed is a couple of drops like after she finish peeing.
bitch first stud was on sept 13, 2nd stud was on sept 14, last stud was on sept 16.
Would like to know if the chance of it getting pregnant or it will got pyo?
Will go ultrasound on the oct 21st.
Also would like to confirm if this scar was from a CS or from an operation. Dog was imported from another country and was told that it was a young female adult.

It's normal for the season to continue after mating. You don't say when day 1 was, of her season. Is this Day 30 after breeding? Or Day 30 from Day 1 of her season? Day 30 from the start of her season wouldn't be impossible that it's just the very end of her season - it is normal for bleeding to continue and the season to finish as usual, after breeding.

The other possibility if you are seeing a few drops of blood after peeing, is a UTI. Bitches can sometimes get UTIs after breeding, so she may need a course of ABs to treat that. Do take care any meds prescribed are safe during pregnancy.

Of course, pyo is a possibility too but I wouldn't leap to that conclusion yet.

It's not really possible to know what that scar is - could it be a hernia repair?

That does sound like much too late for it to be her season continuing then.

I would be thinking about it being a UTI if you are seeing a few drops after she pees. During mating, there is obviously lots of bacterial 'stuff' going in there(!!) and so bitches do get UTIs. I think you're doing the right thing to get an ultrasound and blood test for pyo - but if nothing is found, talk to your vet about a UTI and see if they can prescribe some safe ABs during pregnancy. Synulox is safe during pregnancy and usually what is prescribed for UTIs anyway.

That looks like a CS section scar - or perhaps from surgical removal of a foreign body from the gut?

Thanks for your response, we are looking for the possibility that a operation was occured on this dog.

I only had one who, after 2 matings, 2 days apart, went back to bleeding to the normal end of the season.   At the time, and she was well otherwise, I just thought maybe she's not taken.   She had an uneventful pregnancy and gave me 9 of probably the best puppies we'd ever bred.   So good we kept one of the 5 males and two of the 4 bitches and they all came back with our others, from where they were born, to the UK.  One taking her UK title too.

Of course I considered a pyo but as said, she was well and happy.   And so was I at the end of the pregnancy, even if she had a C.Secton - on Christmas Eve with sheet ice on the ground!   The was a very special Christmas however.

If you feel this is reason for concern, with your girl, see your vet.   And it might be worth collecting some urine and having it tested?

ps   That scar certainly looks more like a C.Section scar (not a hernia - too big).

I still hoping for her to get pregnant, but im still concerned that she is still bleeding/discharge small amount of blood 30days after mating. Hoping after the scan/blood test no problems with her.
As for the scar picture will confirm to the seller what happen to her. Posted as healthy young adult with issue, and hopefully we can get some refund or some discount because of what happen to this dog.

I should have said, of course, that whereas all the others had simply just tailed off from the light straw colour they'd gone to, after being mated (knowing they'd still be 'in season' to the last day), this one actually went back to a blood-coloured discharge although it wasn't copious.  All was ok with her however.

Hi all an updated after the cbc/urinalysis/ ultrasound. no puppies found(35th day after mating), no pyometra, positive on UTI and currently taking ABs. We still confuse by the scar found on his abdomen, but as per vet it was a scar from previous operation likely to CS. Thanks all for your response! hoping our corgi will stay healthy.

The scar could be due to an operation to remove a foreign body. Maybe she ate something she shouldn’t?

We dont know for sure, the seller of this dog stated that it was a young adult fluffy female corgi with no issues or what. As per the scar it is too wide/long for a removal of foreign object as per the vet. We will dont know for sure, we are still waiting for the seller response. Anyways thank you for your reply and answer.

Where was the corgi imported from if you know the country of origin the breed club from that country may be able to help you
