My husband and I are recently retired and are looking to foster retrievers and ultimately rescue one. Our family dog is a 10 year old golden. With the current pandemic situation, this is proving very difficult and wondered whether you have any advice.

I am assuming  u mean a golden retriever or are u interested in any of the others ?
There are  a.number of breed  rescues if u google what u want but often the breed clubs will have a welfare section and u could speak to them
If u go to the breeders section here and look at the breed u are interested in the clubs and contacts come up
