can any one help please. my Girl had her first litter in february and now lost nearly all her beautiful coat. it’s not soft , seams very brittle. could anyone suggest any thing I could give her to help it grow back . she’s very healthy in her self. thank you

It's totally normal for bitches too loose their coat after breeding it will grow back usually takes awhile though.

Your post tickled me, as the Post Partum coat loss, especially in a coated breed can be a shock.

Don't expect the coat to be really showable until pups are 6 months old, and then she'll probably be in season.

Also I have found that sometimes the coat, that should be straight in my breed, comes back a bit off colour and wavy, especially on neck and withers.

The next moult will sort it.

It's quite difficult fitting breeding in with bitches, as you loose so much of a show year.
