Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Allergies - Shar Pei

My Shar Pei has bead allergies and scratches so much that he bleeds. Have spent $ trying to help his condition. Please help! His front nails are growing sidewards. I think we have to give him the SarPei trim, but I don't want him to be in pain! Any suggestions will be appreciated. If I need to give him the SarPei trim, who would be the best....Vet or a breeder?

Thank you....Patty

are you in the usa, or uk, --most allergies are food related, a good brand of kibble with no additives in lamb/rice- chicken/rice etc normally help, can you get nutro, james wellbelloved etc, also its best feeding an adult food as pei dont need high protien,
for the nails,-its really vital you keep at them, they grow so quickly, i use a dremmel, charged by battery so im mobile with it, no good being plugged into the wall if the pei does a runner :D , if you want to mail me please feel free, my details will come up if you click on my name, -i do have sharpei
