My dog is 51/2 weeks pregnant now and is still jumping up on the furniture and beds.I'm worried about her hurting herself and/or pups. The information I have says they shouldn't be doing any rough play or jumping so as not to have misscariage or early labor. Will she stop on her own, or should I just watch more to make sure she isn't doing this? Any help or info would be much appriciated! Thanks

We found with our very active Terv girl, that at about 6 1/2 weeks the jumping stopped. We were worried as well, but it didnt help, as she is too active to be stoppedhumanely. Good luck.

My bitch will be 6 weeks tomorrow and she's still jumping onto furniture etc. I'm trying to keep her quiet but she's not so keen. She has quietened down and isn't chasing around with the others quite so much. I don't think it's feasible to stop a bitch jumping up but we can do our best and hope mother nature tells mum when she's doing too much.

Thanks so much for the input. I'm glad to here it's not just me :). Baily, who is a yorkie , is very active also. She has slowed some but not a lot. Sometimes she does wait for us to pick her up and lift her to the furniture etc.. I'll just do the best I can and hope for the best!:) LOL to you also!! Thanks again!
