I got my bitches bloods back today she is now on day 9. She is at 9.9nmol/L and was toold to breed monday but with monday being a holiday re test tuesday results next day. I asked if I could get bloods taken monday and posted tuesday due to work and was told yes, just make sure the dog coversher from today onwards. So I'm now like is it from today or Monday. It doesn't help my bitch is a total hussy and is standing. The male is unproven so is a bit like a fish out of water.

If she was 9.9nmol, when were those bloods taken? Saturday morning? Friday?

Whenever they were taken, she was here:

"7 -12 Nmol or 2.2 - 3.7ng minimum one day to ovulation. estimated breeding window 3 -5 days"

So really, Monday is exactly right to attempt breeding. I'm not sure what your question is? Breed tomorrow for sure and then every 48 hours until she won't stand, if you can. Otherwise, breed tomorrow and re-test and then decide when to place your last breeding from those results. You don't need to test tomorrow/bank holiday, it's fine to test on Tuesday. Don't forget that semen lives at least 3 days and that eggs take 48 hours to ripen after ovulation, before being fertilisable.

Her bloods where taken Friday. The question was I was total at start to breed monday onward and when i question about retaking bloods as it a holiday. I was then total to breed from saturday onwards. So if Monday is right although not proven my male has been right and my bitch is jist a hissy

There's no correlation between when a dog will stand and when the fertile period is. Some bitches will stand from day 1 till day 28.

If her bloods were that low on Friday I’d be surprised if you’d get a mating so early as Saturday. Sounds like the dog is right (they usually are). Not yet ovulated and then you’d have a couple of days after ovulation until eggs have ripened so like the guide says, Monday at the earliest. Won’t hurt to put them together Monday and see, then run bloods on the Tuesday and see where you are.
