Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Weimararner hazard avoidance

HI, Does anyone know the average onset of the hazard avoidance period in Weimararner puppies.
I know the rule of thumb is 8 weeks but also certain breeds like GSD have it earlier, Golden Retrievers are much later and wondered when the Weimararner are compared to this.
Many thanks, Vikki

Have a look at www.drjensondodblog.com  The Dark Side of Socialization: Fear and Single Event Learning.

Thank you. Her stuff is amazing, i actually referenced that exact blog on a piece about single event learning but it's the specific time for Weimararners i was hoping for within that period. Having spend considerable amount of time around GSD i know they start the fear period as early as 5/6 weeks. I might have to just go with the average 8-10 for this piece.
Thanks again, Vikki
