Hi everyone so my girl is on day 60
She’s in her welping area and has a clear stringy discharge
She went for a wee then I noticed it she is panting but not heavily and seems comfortable she has been eating fine and drinking Loads
Does this indicate that labour will be soon?
It’s her first litter so I don’t know any patterns for her to be aware of She is completely fine in her self and still wants loads of attention tail waggling when she sees me ,
Any help would be wonderful .

Yes this could very well be the first stage. It can go on for a few hours or 36 hours +.

Yes, it could be the mucous plug coming out.  Sometimes they are very clean and have licked it away before you see anything, and sometimes it just doesn't seem to appear either...

She is keeping her self extremely clean been panting a lot today
But it’s been so hot so iv Put it down to that
Still drinking loads no more discharge .
Fingers crossed something starts happening soon she’s due tomorrow
