Do you know when the maiting was? My scanner prefers to do it from 31 days. If you need to know id rescan in a week.

3 weeks is much too early. Good scanners will do 28 days, if less experienced (such as many vets)  it's best to wait until around 32 days.

If it's an accidental.mating are u intending to let her have a litter or maybe it would be a good idea to think about other options ?

Hi no where not intending to let her have them but we don't know for sure even after the scan as we thought we would... she said all she can see is a early sack but then she said she doesnt think she is so we still are no better off knowing

I would talk to your vet.  its sods law she will be pregnant as was not a wanted mating and the sooner you get her to vet the better , delaying till certain is not a good idea. hope all goes well for her and you can get her sorted quickly.

I agree with weimed speak to your vet.  They will mostly likely suggest give alzin which will terminate any possible pregnancy. U don't need to know If she is pregnant just that u know it is a possibility.
Particularly given our current situation re covid it isn't agood time to have puppies and given it wasnt planned I would go for alzin asap .in human terms the morning after pill

The lady I use for ultrasound who is very respected and highly recommended, likes to scan at around 32 days from mating. She says she will never guarantee a bitch isn’t pregnant if she can’t find anything. I would assume regardless of ultrasound that your bitch is pregnant and consult the vet and treat appropriately rather than hoping she isn’t and finding out she is when she’s much further along.
