Is there a register of dog sitters that have been vetted, and if so, who does the vetting? Also if I was to do dog-sitting how would I go about becoming registered?

I think all the people working for dog-sitting companies (Minders Keepers, Animal Aunts etc) are police checked for criminal records before they are employed by the company.
