Hi all

We went to discover dogs last month and we have found the breed for us.

We did a lot if talking about which breed suits the both of us and my partners ears and after talking to suejaw we were interested in the Rottweiler. Having already had a strong breed ( German shepherd) we knew we would be fine. So we spent a lot of time with them there last month and just like suejaw we were told they dont bark for the sake of it and after spending more time in the last few weeks with different breeders who all have said barking wise we will be fine we have finally found a breed that suits both of us. For him he hated that GSDs are high strung so Rotties being more laid back that GDSs suited him more but they have all the qualities i loved about the GSD and Rotties have there own quikyness ( i think i spelt that right) that i have fallen in love with. So i wanted update to say we have decided on the Rottie and to thank everyone who has helped us over the past few months.

Very pleased for u . Suejaw will tell it how it's so u  an rely on what she says without doubt , she knows her rotties:)

I wonder who you spoke to on the stand as i know a few of them who were there.

re barking - daughter had one when she lived at home and Widge didn't even bark at the someone at the door if the other two dogs were in to do it for her
