I have a border terrier bitch who is now 10yrs old. Over the past couple of months I've noticed she appears not to see things until they're quite close to her. She doesn't bump into things tho . At home she's fine but of course she knows the layout.  A couple of years ago I had the vet check one eye cause I felt it looked a little bigger than the other and I was concerned about glaucoma. However vet came back saying there was nothing wrong with her eyes.
Has anyone here had similar experiences .? Are border terrier s prone to eye problems?
Thanks

If it's 2 years since the vet last checked her eyes it'd be worth getting them checked again, because a lot can change in 2 years. Several conditions are late-onset.

One very simple test to guage vision is to drop a piece of cotton wool past the dog's face. It makes no noise when it falls so if the dog reacts to it you know it's because it can see it.
