Thinking ahead, has anybody heard if there is likely to be a problem getting hold of medication, like Metacam which is made in Germany after we (eventually) come out of the EU?  I have to think about perhaps getting another bottle in so there's no gap for my hound who needs this, ongoing.

I dont think anyone can really know so  in circumstances  like yours I would buy an extra .it has along shelf life .so should be fine .

My friend has said she has already had difficulties accessing certain human medicines, so I can’t see why animal medication would be any different. It’s also been reported on in the media.

I emailed Animed who I buy Metacam from yesterday and they replied saying "No, the supply is not going to be interrupted as far as we have been made aware by National Veterinary Services Limited."

I do believe that if we all start stock-piling, supplies are more likely to run out so right now, with a bottle I have only just started, I'm sitting tight.

I agree MamaBas. There is so much scaremongering going on that people are likely to stock pile. That in turn will cause a shortage and that will then be blamed on Brexit
