Most people know that I'm useless at anything technical, so bear with me.  Is there someone out there who can point me in the right direction on some Facebook issues I'm having. 

For ages now I can't get a video to open, just get the constant circling and they won't open - I've actually left for half an hour with nothing happening.  Most of these are on my Border Collie group, but not restricted to that.  Also, although it looks like I have notifications, that won't open either.  So I can't see if anyone has replied to me.  Many thanks in advance folks.

What sort of device are you using? If it's a phone or tablet you could try uninstalling the Facebook app, then reinstalling again. That has worked for me with issues like this. You would need to go into your app store on your device and look for fb and there will be a button to uninstall.

Wouldn't know an app store if it bit me on the bum.  And I wouldn't know what to do with a smartphone even if I could afford one.  My technical knowledge is zilch.  I have a centuries old laptop and have never installed FB so wouldn't be able to uninstall.  It's definitely not on my list of programmes.  Sorry to be so technically unsavvy, but it's a fact I'm afraid. 

There seems to be something up with fb at the moment and some people are having similar issues to you. Looking at my news feed, nothing seems to have happened on anything I follow or take part in since about 10pm last night which is unusual for me.
