I went to see some staff puppies, they was with their mum, still feeding off mum, the dam is blue. I think they was 5wks old they give me kc copy for dad, they don’t own sire they only have the mum who is not kc. I’m just a bit unsure weather they are purebreds or not. Dad to the pups is Hallsashron moody blues (blue & brindle)& has 5 CH on his family tree: CH Valgo lancer, CH Vanoric voodoo, CH Leathal weapon of craskon, CH Bullyview alright mate.
Can you post pictures on here, if so I’m not sure how?

The mother not being registered would be a red flag for me,  she may not be registered as she is not purebred or it could be she is but her breeder either didn't register or could not register her litter (patient endorsed not for breeding but bred anyway or not registered).
Are the patients health tested? I see the stud is DNA tested but doesn't mention if he is eye tested.

How did you check this? I checked through using a code on kc paper. Yes the dad has had the DNA test but not the eye test & im not sure if the mum or puppies have been health tested

Can you not post pictures on this forum?

I would only consider a litter where both parents are kc reg and health tested and the litter will be kc reg.
Also note that good breeders don't tend to breed blues or from blues either.
You are best off contacting one of the breed clubs and asking for details of reputable and responsible breeders who do fully health test and ask what health tests should be done

You want a KC registered pup to ensure that the pup is pedigree.  Which means that both parents must be KC registered.  Please find a reputable breeder, this is one breed where there are thousands and bazillions of bad breeders and actually not that many good ones by comparison, so you have to look hard.  But it will be worth it.

My profile pic is of my bitch staff named Sasha. Unfortunately she is no longer with us as she past away few month ago, 14yr 4month & 21 days old, beautiful she was. I was wondering Would it possible to some how trace back her family/siblings? That would be amazing if I could get a pup from her siblings side

You can look up of the dogs on the mykc site if you have an account.
While you can't post photos here you can upload them to a photohosting site (like say Flickr) and post the link to it.

If you know your old girls kc name you could see if yer breeder is still breeding or if another breeder has a related line.

I don’t have a MYKC account, maybe I’ll register.

Back then I was young & didn’t really bother to do all the checks & so on. Also it probably wasn’t as easy to check as it is now. But I can tell you this, it was the best decision I have ever made. All she had was the DLRC pedigree certificate. I know now not worth the paper they’re written on.

I can see her great great sire & dam on sire’s side was firecracker of amazing grace & dark eyed Cassandra, also her great gran sire was The fearless white knight. But nothing on her sire & dam.

Also often the pedigrees with the Mickey mouse registries can be total fiction, names plucked from the air or from famous pedigrees, sometimes totally different breeds.

They could be fiction, but the named Staffies were KC registered, and two of them had Stud Book numbers. They are all now historic, but it might be worth registering with MyKC and doing a little research to see whether the lines continued.

I can’t seem register on my kc I’m using iPhone. The puppies that I went to see I noticed there’s a lot of dogs on the dads family tree that are from Ilychevsk, is this normal?
- By CaroleC [gb] Date 13.05.19 13:09 UTC
I'm sorry I don't know whether MyKC is available on an iPhone. I haven't made the giant leap to a Smartphone yet! The KC staff are very helpful, so maybe ask them how to proceed.
I know very little about Staffies, but I Googled Ilychevsk Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and there were details of imported stud dog from that area.
His pedigree showed where each of his antecedents were from, and most of them did seem to be from Ilychevsk. Perhaps this is the sire of the litter you visited.

It's easier to register for MYKC on pc or mac it's not the best mobile site. Same when logging on although the rest of the site is ok.
Regarding the pup I made the mistake of once buying a pup (SBT) in similar circumstances and honestly I would tell you to stay well clear. Especially if they are breeding for colour. My girl was a stunning red but patella issues developed at 1 year old and by 4 was all but lame on that leg. Her temperament was also questionable, fab with all humans all ages and totally bomb proof with new situations loud noises etc but completely untrustworthy with any other animals add to that a higher prey drive than I have ever witnessed in any dog. This was evident from 5 months.
In short unless you are potentially  prepared for a lifetime of health issues and vet bills and potential liablaity don't do it. also please don't let the colour of the litter guide your choice. A nice healthy  pup who's parents are fully health tested , kc reg and has been bred for temperament is worth a thousand that aren't.
My lesson was well and truly learned and have never done it since
