Hi guys
My bitch was mated 2 weeks ago and she has grown up with my other bitch and always have got on well together
Since my younger bitch has been mated the pair of them have been fighting every couple of days which is really out of character. I've had to split them up after I was bitten by one of them in a bad fight on Monday but walked them together this morning and my older girl just looked like she was wanting to fight all the time. They didn't fight and are now split up again but she just seemed agitated around my mated bitch

Could this be because the younger bitch has been mated and might be making my older one seem less dominant??
Just worried as I know if my young girl is actually in pup I'll need to keep her away from the older girl as there will be disaster for sure!

Any advice is appreciated

Yes I have had this happen, from literally the moment of mating. I was finally able to let the bitches be together again by the time the pups were about 6 weeks old.
