Hi I have had Cockers for 40 yrs, I have a blue Roan who is nearly 9 yrs old, she lost her sister last year thro illness (Glomularnephritis) we were both devastated, I didn't want any more dogs (again), but recently I have felt that my girl (and myself) would benefit greatly from another dog, I thought about a rescue, but not sure my girl at her age would be happy with an older dog, and I struggle to find any in the North of England that would be suitable and accessible for walks and contact prior to rehoming. My OH was keen to go for a pup, s I am now looking for a bitch puppy preferably in brown shades, as we cannot bring ourselves to have a dog the same colour as any of our earlier dogs. Sadly so far so many have waiting lists, we are hoping to find one in the next two months with a view to collecting early Mid May. Priority is for a healthy dog over colour
