any ideas on pain relief for a 3 week old puppy with colic?

only just started doing it but he is screaming all night long, tried rubbing his tummy and having him over my shoulder but anything i could give him to make him more comfortable??

Is the poorly little one ? If so maybe a chat with the vet to be sure it's colic and what they can give.

ive been to the vets twice now, one being yesterday - they just gave me oralade to make sure he's hydrated. they said he is fine and just keep doing what i am doing but he cried all night long, a painful cry too so i can only think it is a nit of colic?
he would not settle all night long

everytime i have taken him to the vets it has really been just a waste of time as they said with him only being 3 weeks he's too young to be doing any investigated for atleast another few weeks so just try and get him to that age then they can start looking into why he is not thriving like the others and not really interested in food

he had a good day yesterday suckling etc and taking the oralade but since 11pm last night he wont eat for himself and is crying hysterically and just wont settle at all

Haywards Gripe water. Used it with success on a friends 2 - 3 week pup of my breed, when vets stumped for anything to give. Gave about 2.5ml for our medium size breed (20kg as adult).

If this is the same poorly puppy and if you are getting nowhere with your current vet, you are entitled to go for a second opinion and frankly I would be doing just that.   Something isn't right about this puppy and perhaps the fact he took a lot of nourishment in and then started doing this screaming with pain tells you he does have a problem.   I hope you can get to the bottom of what's causing all this, without resorting to more 'try this, try that'.

Goodness, sometimes it's just not meant to be and better to ask for a pup to be PTS if they are screaming in pain all night, than rushing back and forth to the vet....  You may save them now, only to see them suffer in the long-term...sadly nature knows best often.

I would have said exactly the same!!   Sometimes, despite our best efforts, these very difficult decisions have to be made, for the good of the puppy.
