Morning all

I mated my bitch two weeks ago today. I have been reading about fading puppy syndrome and  the CHV vaccine. I’m currently ringing round all local vets to try and find it in stock and not having much joy. Does anyone happen to know of a practice with it in stock anywhere in the north west?

Frustrating isn't it. Had the same issue and tried to get it at the start of her season, decided to give it a miss as she lost her whole last litter, presumably to CHV. Will hope there's available vaccine next time. Best of luck with your upcoming litter.

How awful for you. I’ve phoned round so many places - most haven’t even heard of it ☹️  Will try as hard as I can to put preventative measures in place at the end of her pregnancy. Made harder by the fact I’m a dog groomer working from home.

I'm not sure if the vaccine will ever be made available again or if it has been permanently stopped...
