My french bulldog has fallen pregnant but we are unsure of her mating date as it was an accident..

She is noticeably big now, producing milk and lost her mucous plus.
Her temperature has dropped to as low as 36 but keeps going up and down.

Does anybody have an idea on what day they think she could be on or any advise of how to help her more than i already am?

thankyou.

It sounds to me as though she is ready to give birth, if the temperature has dropped to as low as 36°.  I have heard that French Bulldogs nearly always need a C-section, so you better consult a vet right away.  I would urge you to get help immediately.

Thankyou, I have already spoke to a vets about c-Section and they said to wait until she starts to show signs of pushing.

While her temperature is fluctuating, she won't whelp.   It's once it goes down and STAYS DOWN that whelping should take place within 12 - 24 hours.   And yes, re involving the vet with this breed.   However, I doubt they'll act (C Section) until she does start pushing (fully dilated).   How far away from your vet do you live because you have to take that into consideration re 'pushing'.

About 20 minutes away, they have told me to go for a blood test tomorrow to test progesterone and see if she is ready yet

What are the dates that she was possibly mated on/from?

These comments interest me, because C-sections are often performed because there is NO "pushing" (primary inertia)...!  The big contractions never start!  I have had many C-sections over the years (25, 50 litters) due to this problem.
