A trainer friend of mine has been ringing around to find the CHV vaccine after my recommendation and although we knew it was out of stock, today she has been told that it's been permanently discontinued.

Has anyone else heard this? Should she keep trying to ring round?

My vets surgery phoned them on Thursday asking about availability but weren't told this

I rang my own vet after posting and was told by a stupid receptionist (kept calling it the chd vaccine) that it was unlikely to be available anytime soon and they were telling clients that they do not stock it at all.

This makes no sense now.

Just wish we knew what was going on one way or other.  I was so lucky, my vet had 2 doses in their fridge when I went on Fri for them to take blood - snapped them up quickly.  If/when it comes back into stock I will get them to keep another 2 for me

I haven't got any current breeding plans myself but sincerely hope that the producer gets themselves sorted soon. I don't really want to breed without it

She's managed to get the 205 which apparently is the same thing or very similar.
