Topic Dog Boards / General / recommendations for blasters

Hi, does anyone have any recommendations for a blaster for a cocker spaniel?  Ideally it should be fairly quiet and inexpensive - don't ask for much do I?  This one has ok feedback on Amazon but also some really poor feedback https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072LP2Q8D/?coliid=I3OS21JH4G38E4&colid=2QQ8G1CTCS7A3&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TD-901T-CYCLONE-BLASTER-DRYER-UPDATED/dp/B005GK3YKC  this one was mentioned in an old thread too.

Lots of the old threads on here recommend the airforce commander 4.0 but they are up to 10 years old and I wondered if there is anything newer that might fit the bill.

I have the Aeolus one and it was fine for the Bernese. I occasionally use it on the girls now too.
Its cheap and does the job imo

Thanks Sue, good to hear someone with personal experience. Having always had short haired breeds that just need a rub down, the amount of hair and dirt that a cocker holds onto is unbelievable.

I've just got the blaster in the first link and I'm impressed so far  definitely prefer it to my old one

Is it very loud?  Some of the reviews say it is too loud and the 2nd one is meant to be quieter but I appreciate that can be quite subjective.

It's not any louder than my old one that broke in July. As you turn up the air flow it gets a bit loud at first but after a few seconds it does quieten down but I suppose unless you've used both, it's hard to say which one is the loudest/quietest

Thanks Keesiekisses, it is half the price of the other one so will give it a go and start on a slow air flow to get him used to it.  Thanks.

Also comes with a free slicker brush (not one with the horrible ball tips either!) and grooming mit - albeit useless on my spitz
