Zuma had a black warty looking lump removed about 12 days ago, it was only about the size of a finger nail but the vet felt it was suspicious and could be a nasty one so they took a big margin.
Poor boy came home with 12 stitches, it was on the front of his upper thigh just where the 'loose' skin starts, so after the first couple of days he has been wearing a 'no-bite' collar.
They sent it away for testing and I got a phone call just before tea - All good, it was benign

Thank you :-)
I was delighted - apart from the obvious reasons - as the vet squeezed him in for the surgery.
His insurance for the last year was just over £430, I got the renewal notice ... just under £1200  plus the £95 excess AND gone up to 25% of the balance :eek:.
I know he is 11 & 4 mths but still !!!. That ran out at midnight on 16th - he had the surgery on 12th so just in the cover. ( bill was £778  )

Good grief none of mine have needed £1200 of vet work in their lives. Three of mine are 10 - 15 years old.
