would love to,we got ours through dobe rescue 3 months ago and he is totally mental (is yours)
as i have had gsd before the rescue home said he would not be the same as my gsd (God she was right )i never have a moments peace he thinks i am there for his pleasure ,but i would not swop him ,we all love him to bits, my son has now got a new wrestling partner which sam loves as he can jump all over the chairs without being told off. It is nice to see him enjoying life as he was illtreated by his previous owners:( and still is very nervious if anyone shouts( but he is getting there):)

I lost my Dobie bitch recently but I'm getting a puppy in July - I must be mad. I'd love to chat but I'm not in the area. I'm in Bedfordshire. You can email meif you like. I'd also like to hear how Steve is getting on with the difficult matter of training. Dobes are not the easiest of dogs to train.

And theres the understatement of the year ;)
Our murph is 16 months now and we can see light at the end of the tunnel ( although maybe not as much as Darren ;) )
It has been very hard work and I have almost given up on more than one occasion :( and probably would have done without the support of BethN.
But all that said Dobes are wonderfull dogs and we are talking (in whispers :D ) of maybe another !!

I'm mad and brave but having been without my Dobe for a couple of months, I can't consider any other breed. They ae so loving, gently and look absolutely beautiful. I'm going for another bitch as we have a male Dalmation x Bassett.

Blimey!! Dalmatian X Basset? What on earth does that look like? :) (No offence - I've met a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Dachshund cross in the past!)

I woke up the other day too find one of my girls had the kitchen roll of worktop in night it looked like it had been snowing in my kitchen as she had turned it into a hundred pice jig saw.

yes a mad dobe i came home from work today and let him in the garden made a cup of tea and looked as he was quiet(very unusal), and he had dug a big hole in the middle of the lawn, other half was not amused as the only laid new turf last year, said he would have to go on a chain that only lets him to the end of the patio(only joking)
