I'm trying to buy some Panalog online but can't find it listed on any of the usual vet med sites I use.   It's now called Nystatin (PanalogĀ®) for Dogs and Cats.   Can anybody help and does it need a vet prescription?

Thanks.

It's a prescription med for humans, I *think* it is for animals as well.  Best to ring your vet and check, they'll be able to tell you.

This is something I've used many times, in the past and I usually picked it up from the vet I was using at the time - most just let me buy it but occasionally I've had vets wanting to see my hound first - kerching!    I'd rather try to buy it online than involve my current vet to be honest.   But I can't find it on Animed or whether it needs a 'script.    I may contact Animed!!

Most of the similar sites have a separate 'prescription only' section  so if you go throught a few of them you should at least find out if it's POM.

What is it for?
When i put nystatin into noah compendium it camr up as an ingredient in canaural ear drops.
Panalog isn't listed on there

It's usually used for for fungal infections or yeast hence being used for thrush .I've used canestan in the past with vets approval .that is otc

Yes - this is what I want it for.   I'm not having much luck - neither on-line vet med. companies have got back to me.   I think it's off to the vet after all.

Viovet have now emailed me saying they don't sell Panalog.    Canaural needs a prescription.  However Cleanaural appears not to ..... ?

Cleanaural is an ear cleaner whilst canaural has antibiotics in it
