Would like to introduce myself,
I’m elaine ....and I’m a dogoholic lol.

I have a chihuahua, a Lhasa apso and FINALLY found the Akita I have always wanted. He is being imported from Romania and will be exactly 16 weeks when we get him (Saturday coming)

He will be my first show dog. My partner had akitas pretty much all his life. I on the other hand have only ever had German shepherds and Rottweilers apart from my two miniature monsters that I have right now.

Looking forward to adding to the information overflowing in my head here on. Champdogs. As they say , there’s never enough of it when it comes to big breeds and THINKING you know what you’re doing.

Love Akitas, especially when they are puppies....but why bring one in from Romania?

Research, lineage of the breed and waiting time. A lot of show and breeding dogs are imported now.
