Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Yellowish discharge

Hi Everyone, my girl is on day 54 today and I have noticed a yellowish discharge. I have called the vet for advice who advised to monitor her closely and she should be ok if not straining. I know not many vets have experience in breeding so was wondering if anyone else has any knowledge on this and should I be concerned? Any help would be great. She is on and off her food. Was particularly hungry yesterday but today hasn’t touched her food. And she’s quiet but still coming the the door tail wagging to greet etc. TIA x

I would be extremely concerned if the discharge has a nasty smell.

Hi jean, no there is no smell at all. Sorry I forgot to mention that. Since posting the discharge seems to have disappeared. As it’s my first time breeding I don’t know if I’m over reacting at the smallest of things x
