Hi yes is it normal for a bitch to bleed after been artificuly insemented

The season isn't over until the normal time it ends, whether mated or not.   How long ago was she AI'd?    One of mine bled quite significantly after she'd had two natural matings which as normally mine would have minimal discharge which wasn't usually that blood coloured, had me concerned.   She went on to have an uneventful pregnancy and 9 puppies at the end.  Probably one of the best litters we'd had at that!

She was done on Thursday night 26 the blood is a light colour and only spotting

Sounds perfectly normal to me.  And it wouldn't concern me if it went on for a couple of weeks.  Unless, of course, there is any smell.
