Please can anyone recommend a boot for indoor use in a large dog, Bernese?  He has neurological problems currently under investigation and many of their floors are tiled so he can't get a grip.
The owner has tried several types which will not stay on or they twist round so the gripper part is on top of his foot. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you.

There are a lot of ideas on a site called canine arthritis management. Dog boots have been covered and they have a fb page. It's run by vets and a vet nurse.
Also putting down lots of non slip mats too will help.

I would suggest non slip mats as well. Much better for a Bernese no matter what.

These are what I have. Non slip and fit in an 8kg washing machine. Not  pretty but do work. They have others on the site but these are cheap and free delivery.

Thanks Sue & Aileen. The owners do put runners down but if he hears the door bell, he charges across & loses his footing before he can be stopped. I'll pass on your suggestions. If you are  coming to the Swiss Party, you will meet him & the family.

Can they put baby gates up to stop him getting too far?  I know it's a pain closing them each time you leave and enter a room but it will stop a certain amount of attempted running.
