Hi all. My dog has a small open wound on her leg. I have bathed it and kept it clean but was wondering whether I should try Manuka Honey on it? If so I understand it should have a UMF of 15+ for any healing benefit. Has anyone tried any of the Holland and Barrett brands or can you send any links please? Thank you .

I've used activon from Amazon medical grade Manuka. Problem I have found is preventing  the dog from licking it off unless it's covered or in an inaccessible place

Thank you furriefriends. I’ve now ordered some activon. Probably by the time it’s delivered the wound would have healed! But more than likely there will be a next time!
