Hello i am after some advice sounds silly but i am a worry guts. I have a bichon larger than average but a bichon all the same whom we have had since 12weeks of age and he is now 4 3 days ago we rescued a 6 year old femal (both are spayed) and no issues living together etc my concern is my exsisiting dog seems to me sad? Havent seen a wagging tail for a few days i know its early days yet but i just dont want him to be sad. We dont make a fuss of the new dog in anyway more than him and both are treated loved equally any advice would be appriciated thankyou in advance.

It's early, early days yet.  My first Bearded Collie hid behind the sofa for 2 weeks when I brought home a second Beardie pup.  They ended up being partners in crime.

Chill.

My eldest HUMPED his 8 week old brother relentlessly for the first 36 hours after we brought the puppy home. They are best best buddies 6 months later. Don't worry yet.
