Just trying to sort out little pup's insurance. She has come from the breeder with 5 weeks KC insurance. Will be getting her vaccinated but still researching about pros and cons of yearly boosters...then it struck me...will insurers insure if we opt out of annual boosters?

Yes. Almost all will insure your dog, just not for diseases which would have been routinely vaccinated for, such as parvo. Everything else would be covered. I say almost all, I don’t know one that doesn’t work this way. Pet plan, Tesco, Asda, more than, animal friends all do this I believe.

You must always read your small print. Phone an insurer to check if unsure.

totally agree with tectona its rare if ever you will find they wont insure if you arent vaccinating. I have found vip4u specialist pet insurance brokers to be excellent helping you to get thorough the woods of pet insurance.
if you search vaccinations you will find a lot of discussion on this contentious subject. but in accordance with the wsva vets should be vaccinating no more frequently than 3 yearly for core vaccines. kc and lepto should you decide to have them arnt core

I'm with Direct Line.  None of mine have boosters as recommended and they've paid out thousands...

I'm with the K.C insurers, & dog(s) haven't had boosters for years. Spoke to them in the past, they were fine other than for diseases connected to inoculations & have had no problem with them paying out for other concerns.
