Hopefully this will load.   Has anybody bought one of these in the UK - the American cost is a touch rich, for me.

Looks to me a waste of money. Hind legs nails would still need to be trimmed conventional way? Might as well do the front ones while at it.

It would also depend on how food motivated the dog is. Interesting though

Wouldn't take much to make one, sort strong sandpaper and an opening box, good glue, job done.

I know someone who has done just that and trained her dog to use it with success.havnt asked her about the hind legs though

No need to spend out for one, they can easily be made!

Hind legs vs. front legs - even in very sensitive or anti-handling dogs, hind feet tend to be a heck of a lot easier to do so this can be very useful for them.  Hind claws also tend to wear down a lot better because of the position of the foot - often I don't need to trim hind claws when I'm grooming dogs, only the front.

Yes I thought about the nails on the hind legs.   But I also agree, especially my Whippet and her long front tallons, her rear leg nails are nowhere near as much of a problem.  But she does tolerate me clipping them far better than with the front legs, which is why I always start with the rear ones.

I just found that vid. amusing, if not interesting - only in America eh.

Same here.  Always start at the back then often the dog is a little better when I get to the front.

I always start with back nails & always have:wink:
