Hopefully I'm expecting too much too soon but my young  pup, brought into my "pack" at 8 weeks is still getting severely told off by my other three (all girls, including pup) aged 13, 9 and 5. Whilst I'm typing this they are all playing mouth boxing and rolly polly together, very roughly but they all seem to be enjoying it. Pup is now 4 1/2 months. None of my girls have ever attacked her in any way, they simply correct her when she goes too far. They make her yelp and then leave her. She just doesn't seem to get the message that pulling them along by their ears or continually pawing around their faces really annoys them and that's when she gets repremanded.  I don't blame them. It's really annoying for them but when will she get the message?  They are Tibetan Terriers.

I'd step in when things get too rough.   With bitches, once they do fight, all too often there's no way back.

I would do if the warning carried on more than one yelp but I was thinking that the older girls were just doing their job correcting her?

They are, but some pups don't listen.  Or the telling off is never quite strong enough to get through to them.  In that situation, she'll just keep aggravating them until either one of them completely explodes and then potentially they will fall out for life, or she will simply just keep going and they will be chronically stressed living with her.

I'd be stepping in, too.

Right, thank you. I will step in from now on as it is becoming stressful.
