My friends dog now age 2 came from 2 kec reg parents but was not kc reg himself.she wants to find out a bit about his back ground but all she has are his parents names( cant find out anything with that) and their kc reg numbers,how do you go about finding out info with the kc reg numbers?

If the parents registered names are known the pedigree will be possible to find on My KC.

They will not be able to find out the dogs KC numbers. I do hope they don't think they will be able to KC full register their dog as this is not possible. They can activity register the dog as any dog pedigree or not can be registered on the AR.

yes they already have the parents kc names and numbers,they asked for details from the breeder cos they want to see if their dog is related at all to their daughters( this is purely for fun,their dog is neutered so are not intending to breed,its just that they are absolutely identical,i know some dogs of the sme breed look alike anyway but they have had this breed all their lives and never had 2 look so much alike x
