Went to reply and then remembered I don't have dogs any more :sad:

Same here, both of my dogs have died this year but I still forget they are no longer here, even went to feed them a couple of weeks ago! Sadly we have decided that age and health problems means no more dogs, first time in my life with no furry cuddles.

:cry: could you do fosters? That way you would have temporary furry cuddles while helping homeless furries?

Know how you feel samsmum. I am lucky to have my cats so still get fluffy cuddles and purrs.

Even my cat passed away a couple of months ago, but I am taking delivery of 2 Norwegian Forest Cat kittens next week, not a replacement but something to look forward to. I don't think I could do fostering, I have taken rescue dogs for years but that has been on adoption basis, to foster and have to let go again would break my heart I think

Sorry started laughing at your reply 'Wegies how lovely'. As you're Scottish you'll get it when I read it as Weegies how lovely!

Although I'm English I live in Scotland and have been making a point of not calling them Wegies (Weegies) although my husband is a Weegie and isn't too bad! It's a long time since I had any baby animals living with me so am a little apprehensive but have missed my pets so much that I think I can put up with any amount of bad behaviour. I did seriously think about more dogs but thinking about a dogs welfare rather than my own I know it would not be the best idea.

Whoops!!! Never thought of that:red::red::lol:

You will have so much fun with your kittens I got two brothers 5 years ago and they were and are a total delight. They kept each other amused and were company for each other although they liked the dogs too.
