might sound silly but i really fancy visiting crufts. never been before and wondered, can you just turn up on one of the days and wander around or do you have to pre-book ?. not showing or anything, just interested in all that goes on.

Hi Eddy, you can just turn up on the day and wander around. I am goping to do that on the Friday and am looking forward to seeing friends, watch the Malamutes being judged and doing some serious shopping :)
It is too late to order tickets online, but I have never had any trouble turning up on the day - after all, they want your money!;)

i usually book in advance, but have not this year as I wasn't sure I would be able to get there. Have never had any problem before with turning up at the door. Just wish it was still at Earls Court though, or even Olympia (now I'm giving my age away). Was much smaller and friendlier then in my opinion.

thanks for that !. just had a look at site - would love to see the terrier groups but they are on the saturday which i guess will be the busiest day ?. might try anyway - i guess there is a great atmosphere whenever you go though.

I would have thought that sunday would be busiest being BIS and all that??

Sunday is the busiest day but Saturday is pretty busy as well. Make absolutely sure you wear your most comfortable shoes.

Has anyone ever gone down there and been refused ?

I'm sure you won't have any problem getting in, I don't think anyone has been turned away. You won't get tickets for the groups or BIS though.

crufts is a huge place and there are no limits on numbers, i promise! everyone who turns up will get in. food stalls are limited and expensive, and there is minimal seating. i would recommend taking your own food and drink, and a folding stool or a blanket to sit on, it is a very tiring day :)
