Hi all,
My girl is 34 days pregnant (confirmed), today one of our other dogs got overexcited and knocked her off the sofa, it frightened me and I couldn't help myself, I told the other dog off (I NEVER raise my voice but I've been so careful with her - this is a much longed for, much planned for litter)
She landed on her feet but rolled on to her side and then got up.
She seems absolutely fine in herself, she's sleeping on me now, to be fair she's a little tank normally, I'm just worried it's hurt the pups? or I've frightened her telling off the other dog.. I feel awful for raising my voice (it doesn't help that I'm off a night shift and have had about 3 hours sleep on the last 2 days either).
please tell me I'm being awfully neurotic, this is our first litter (of this breed) and I just want to do right by her and her babies.

My collie girl was attacked and bowled over on a walk by two boxers when she was in whelp, about 7 weeks gone, I was soooo annoyed, and so worried for her but the pups were fine if that helps

I took a pregnant Chihuahua on holiday.  She ran out of the caravan to the fence, got through and jumped. A 9 foot drop to the road,  I felt sick and raced round to find her happily trotting down the road.  She had an uneventful pregnancy.

My pup's dam was badly attacked along with her owner by a GSD whilst she (the dog) was pregnant- dog needed stapling up, owner needed surgery on her wrist and knee, all a horrible and stressful ordeal as they couldn't get the GSD off of her. Pups were grand. She even enjoyed another trip to the vets after eating a bag of cocoa powder whilst pregnant. We wondered what else could go wrong.

Not an awful lot you can do now anyway but hopefully you feel a bit more at ease by now.

Thank you it does.. although it's one thing after another! Just posted about her having an allergic reaction and having to give her piriton..(I really couldn't leave it, she was swelling around her face and neck) I'm literally going to go grey from this litter
