Is there anyone else out there who has Shih-tzus. I always had cats but after loosing my last two to cancer of the ears. I decided not to have any more animals. Two years passed and the house was so empty I started looking at dogs. There was two we used to see every Sunday at a car boot sale and they just bowled me over ( they were Shih-tzu). I got as many books as I could on them but couldn't bring myself to get one. My husband used to say I will bring you one home a suprise and I would always say you wouldn't dare. Well my birthday came round and in came my husband with this box and I knew straight away what it was. I was not happy bacause I wasn't sure I was ready for a dog. Anyway when I opened this box my heart melted. There was this adorable little gold a white puppy..Ten months later we got another one for company for her and they turned out to be half sisters and are inseperable. If anyone is looking for a small loveable dog you couldn't pick a better breed. My daughter is now looking for one.

Hi Lulu, I have one called Molly who is 13 months old. Wouldnt be without her she is a clever, funny little thing - just like her brother Barney our 17 month old lhasa apso :) :D

Hi Gina You have your hands full. What colour are yours. I have Lulu who was gold and white when she was a baby but who now has turned brindle. Cassie who is the tiny one is black and white. The have very different personalities but they get on extremely well. I like the name Molly. I wanted to call my little one Tilly but my husband refused to take her out if he had to call her that (I think Tilly would have suited her better) My daughter is looking for a chocolate one but I have only ever seen two and they were more red than chocolate.

My husband said he would never walk Molly - didnt last long LOL :)
Molly is black and white and tiny with a LOUD bark. She has a soft palette unfortunately (we think) so taking her to specialist vet on Weds who may operate. My vet doesnt think it is too bad but she definitely seems to have something wrong when she runs about too much sometimes she can choke a bit. She is completely mad most of the time and gets the better of Barney all the time. Cassie is a lovely name. And I could go for Lulu. I wanted Tilly but husband wouldnt have it either so settled for Molly.
Funnily enough we saw a chocolate one yesterday (dark brown with some white?) Lovely little thing but bigger than Molly. Barney was cream, white and dark brown as a pup but mostly cream and white now.

Sounds just like Cassie. Little body, very Loud at times. Hope your Molly is ok. Very worrying when something is not right.
