My bitch mated on the 7th 9th and 11th. Last few days I've noticed her nipples have grown and gone a bit pinker. She's having more periods of quiet time. But seems perfectly happy in herself running around playing with my neighbours dog  What I'm asking is today I have noticed her licking herself a bit more than normal. There's a small discharge but it's not smelly at all. What I'm worried about is pyometra. Should I get her checked or does this sound perfectly normal? If there's puppies then it be great but my bitches health is the most important thing for me.

Just to add discharge is clear. No smell at all

Sounds normal to me and would be a very good sign of pregnancy.

It's usually a sign of pregnancy and very normal, you would only need to worry if your bitch has a smelly discharge, very frequent urination or seems unwell,  good luck with your puppies to come.

Perfect. Got a scan booked In for her on 9th. Then I'll get excited. This will be her first litter but not her first baby. She's got the motherly instinct so bad. We found a kitten who was about 4 weeks old and she has motherd her since the day we found her. Even at one point produced milk. It will be nice to see her with puppies rather than a kitten tho. Fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy and some perfect puppies.
