Hi my girl is just over 7 weeks pregnant she is healthy and happy in herself, apart from a little tired and uncomfortable. She has being off her food from around 3 or 4 weeks. She will eat meat and bits of our food but wont touch her dog food, I was just wondering is it safe to feed her liver heart kidney ect? I have seen a post on this site about liver cakes so I am goin to some of them. I was also wondering if there is a limit to the amount she can have? would you give her them raw or cooked? Any advice would be very much appreciated I just want her to be as happy and healthy as possible for the puppies coming.

This is used as a bait for showing or a treat not for meals.

Will she eat scrambled eggs (ne of the most complete food sources), Raw Green tripe will rarely be refused.

Are you giving several small meals a day.

I often find they will not want to eat when offered but happily tuck in an hour latter, you jut have to go with what they want at this stage.

Thank you for the reply she won't touch scrambled egg over Xmas she went threw a stage of eating dinner scraps like veg and meat but has went off that now. she is just picking yeah I just try her with little bits threw out the day she will eat bits of ham and Sandwich meat. I have bought some offel as she loves that normally but but wasn't sure if it was safe while she is carrying the pups? She is gaining weight and is happy in herself still has 5 min bursts of playfulness I just want to keep her as healthy as possible

Carefully with offal it will give  a runny bum if she isn't used to it or she has too much. If raw feeding u would only give around 10% per day.mine are raw fed and I still have to be careful .
