I'm thinking of starting doing this with one of my SWD's but unfortunately do not know of any local training places.

I did enquire on a site but they said that you had to join up with them for £10 and then have the year book which was another £5 which wd. give me the details of local trainers. I'm not sure whether I'm suited to this never mind my dog so am a bit reluctant to fork out £15 before going and seeing what it's like.

Are there any training clubs in or around the South Manchester area?

If you have SWD's, you will know Faye..... ask her, as a lady at our dog club in Wilmslow, does it competitively. She should be able to put you in touch with her. I know her name but not her number, so Faye is the best person to ask.

If you're a member of Wilmslow DTC then you should find they hold a class on a Fiday evening at Cheadle. I't run by Maggie and is lots of fun :)
