Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / discharge after a litter

I have a girl that had puppies 10 weeks ago.
She still has light discharge I notice on her bedding etc.
She acts normal and nothing going on that worries e.g smell, temperature... just never had discharge quite this long after a litter so wondering if it does happen or should I start thinking of getting her checked.

I have had it last as long as 3 months, with no issues.

Although a lot of mine had C.Sections, meaning most of it was removed so lessening the amount of discharge going on, I have had them have this for some weeks.   It depends on what it looks like, and how copious I'd suggest.    If you are concerned, talk to your vet.

Thanks.
I was not concerned apart of starting to think surely it should be about the time for the discharge to stop ( based on experience of having cared for over 10 bitches post litter, this was the first with bleeding this late after pups..)
Most vets know very little of how long it is normal for a bitch to bleed so not sure they would have offered very based on experience advise.
Which is why I though not to call a vet first as my girl was not showing any sign of illness - no temperature, smell and totally normal behaviour, appetite etc.

We have now had few days of no discharge, pups are little over 11 weeks old

Ain't that the truth!  I had a vet tell me that a bitch couldn't possibly be pregnant as mated on day 28 of a season.  Tell that to her 7 pups.
