Hi. I wonder if anyone could help me. I've got an 8 month old GSD puppy and she's lovely. The only big problem with her is that as soon as she sees another dog or people she charges towards them and barks at them quite viciously. Sometimes she even jumps up at people and bites other dogs. I really want to stop this before she gets any older but I don't know how. When she's on the lead and she sees another dog she nearly pulls me over (she's so strong, it's untrue and she still has a lot of growing to do :-((( ) I take her to training classes and I've also explained the problem but all they said is that she's only a puppy and that "I shouldn't let her do this"!!! But nobody could actually tell me what to do. When I'm out with her I let her off the lead until I see somebody coming. Whilst that's ok there's still the problem of her strength and she's soooo noisy!!! Please tell me what you think. I'll try anything!!!

I had a similar problem this time last year, although he never barked at the other dogs, just wanted to play. but when he ran across the road to get to an old lady who was walking her poodle, that was the last straw!!
He spent months on a 30' foot line practising his recalls, which now a year later are 100%. You need to make yourself more appealing to your dog. Try using food or toys, but get her on a long line. She can still have a run, but you will still have control over her. Mine never responded to food, but is obsessed with his toy. He had a terrier come up to him a couple of months ago which started to bite his neck, quite viciously, he just stood there and took it because I was holding his toy in my hand there was no way he would retaliate, because he wouldn't have got the toy!
If she does respond to food, get her attention of the other dogs that she is barking at by saying "Leave" or something like that and when she does give her a titbit as a reward. It is hard work and I really do feel for you, but stick with it and you will get is sussed one day.
