Our bitch has just had puppies and they are now 3 days old. This morning we noticed our smallest pup was constantly crying. It is now almost 1 o' clock and there is no change. We thought she may be hungry or that our bitch hadn't toiletted her but she still hasn't stopped. When we did toilet her quite a bit of blood came out in her stool. Does anyone know why this is and whether or not she'll survive?
The blood actually came out in her urine, not stool.

Either way, coupled with the 'constant crying' you need to get onto your vet, asap. Something is seriously wrong with this puppy, obviously so the sooner you get professional advice, the better.

Constantly noisy puppy is either hungry or ill, blood in the urine needs a vet visit pronto
Try to take a sample of urine with you, for the vet to check it.

A vet has seen her but doesn't know why she's bleeding. We are just keeping her comfortable now.
Fingers crossed for her x
Hello,
My puppies are almost 4 weeks old and some of our females had blood in their urine around day 5. We took them all to the vets straight away and they were put on a course of antibiotics for 7 days and that sorted the problem out. All puppies are now healthy and playing around.
Hope all goes well.
