Hi,
I'm looking for your views on Plaque Off, as I'm thinking about trying it on one of my dogs.

I've just started using it on my two Irish Setters after reading good reviews. So I can't say how its going yet but I'm hoping for good things. I bought mine from Amazon, they had by far the best price. Going to finish two tubs before I decide whether or not to continue.

Hi Nursery,
I'd been interested to know how you get on.
A friend of mine has started using it on her dog, she thinks it's very good. I have found varying prices on eBay, but just want other peoples views on it before trying it out.

I have been using it for my 8 year old golden for just over a year. After several weeks it cleared the small amount of plaque she had and her teeth have remained beautifully clean.

That sounds very positive, bestdogs.

I've ordered some off Amazon after reading this.
Mine has smelly breath and plaque despite brushing.
Hopefully this will save her from an anaesthetic.

Yeah, my 9 year old boy had very bad breath caused by long term gum disease. He has gingival hyperplasia on the right side and gum resession on the left. So his teeth were doomed. We struggled on with regular brushing for a long time, but when I found there were some loose teeth, it was time for drastic action. Although the teeth didn't look too bad as far as tartar and plaque was concerned he actually had 20 yes twenty extractions last week. Hence my determination not to have to go through that again with any others. So they are getting plaque off every day and I'm smearing Logic gel over their teeth at night and brushing every few days. Don't think I can do much more. Fingers firmly crossed.

Oh, and the smell has gone too! Haleluja!

I think it is the Logic gel which helps with smell, looking back I did use that as well when I first started with Plaque off as it didn't immediately cure dodgy breath, but don't use it now, just Plaque Off. I suppose the smell can't go really until the Plaque has cleared because if the teeth are rough with Plaque, bacteria will be building up too.
