My dog is having her 2nd litter we are at day 63 and she hasn't lost her plug yet should I be concerned at this stage?
First litter went very smoothly and had 7healthy pups just thought I could post to get some opinions thank you

Again (because I've said this in another thread), I let mine go two days over the due date (counting from the first mating) and then if nothing was happening, involve my vet!    And obviously if my bitches weren't comfortable, ditto.    I preferred to have my vet check and treat as appropriately rather than let the puppies sit there, growing bigger by the day and making a C.Section more likely to be needed.   I'd not unduly worry if you are only on day 63, bearing in mind conception might not have taken place immediately.   Provided there's no distress or nasty discharge, I'd wait.   Frustrating as it is!!   But you can see your bitch and how she seems, we can't.

ps   Sometimes with a small litter, they can just 'sit' in which case, again, check with your vet.
