4 huge boys safely delivered tonight! Two oxytocin injections later she was doing nothing so they decided to operate - it is no surprise she couldn't push them out considering the size of them. They are enormous. Anyhow she is home looking slightly puzzled and groggy but well. They are all feeding and being VERY vocal. Thanks to everyone for their support - a happy ending indeed.

Many congrats on the safe delivery :)

Thank you so much everyone. At least there is a lesson for those who search the pages post 63 days! The bottle of white has been chilling in the fridge for a week now and the cork almost rushed out which is more than the pups did!

Congrat's. My dog has got a week and a half to go, aaggh! She's just over 2 and it's her first litter, I'm getting so nervous now, it's not the first time that I've had pups though but I'm terrible every time. I drive my mum round the bend with, has that happened before, do you think she's alright etc!!
Just wait, in 4 weeks time they'll be driving you round the bend running around everywhere.
Thats good news J/Jat, think I`ll have a drink meself now :)
Christine, Spain.

Thats fantatic news J/J so pleased the mum and babies are doing well, have a long drink girl you deserve it :-)
Congratulations again

I have the same problem!!! It's my dogs 65th day today and no labor signs yet. She's panting today though. Is that bad? The first time she was pregnant she was cesarian. Hope this time she won't be.

I would take her tio the vet. My bitch did this with her third and last litter. The panting is usually first stage labour. My bitch did this on and off for 48 hours, and was found to be dilated, but not going into second stage labour, and when injections of Oxytocin failed to get things moving needed a C section.

Just for a final note - pups all doing very very well, they were all 14 - 15 oz at birth on Thursday pm and weight today (sun) had increased by 6oz! She is making a lovely mum with 4 very well cared for pups (all have homes).

What a wonderful outcome! I'm so pleased, and no worries about homes - couldn't be better! :) :)
