
It isn't endometriosis, that is when parts of the endometrium (lining of the womb) break off and move around the body, causing really bad pain every month as it bleeds with the mentrual loss. This is endometritis, which is inflammation of the endometrium. It's not very common I don't think but then again, if it's not common knowledge or our bitches don't suffer very much or we just put it down to nothing much, it could be very common. Apparently, it worsens with each pregnancy which would explain Flossies long and hard labours.
