Hi, can I ask what any kennel owners do with there dog poo. Am opening a small kennels shortly and struggling to find anyone who will supply a bin of sorts and uplift etc. Enviromental need paperwork etc, have asked them if they could recommend but still waiting on a reply. Thanks x

First place I worked had an incinerator.  Last place down south buried theirs, which was just absurd as there was so much (I think they might have had the same trouble with disposal as you are) but they were about to buy an icinerator when I left.

The Boarding Kennel I worked at for a couple of years, which wasn't the best I have to say, used to burn their kennel rubbish (incinerator), including the pooh.   It was way out in the country but with the wind in the wrong direction, it wasn't a good smell.    Space available would probably dictate how you dispose of such things - and local environment laws.   It keep at your local Environment people because this does need to be sorted out before you go ahead.

Have you contacted your local council, a friend who ran a small kennel used to triple bag and the dustmen took hers away

There is a very well run kennels near here. I believe all their waste is bagged, and it is taken by the council. They have one of those very large bins, (a grey body and wheels, with a heavy green lid), the type which would be collected by the commercial service, rather than the normal domestic one. I would ask the council about details of their commercial refuse service.

The two kennels I've been at both burned theirs. Both just put in in a pile out back and burnt it but one called the the pile an incinerator. You could call the council and ask I'm sure they would have guidelines for l acceptable setup/management of kennels.

Or I guess you could hire hazardous waste removal. All our waste for the animal care section at work use to be collected by some private company. We had big secure dumpsters and they came and collected it all and burnt it I asume.
